This time next week, we’ll be launching our 7th Kickstarter for our new limited series Arks Helices!

Written by Rory Collins with art by Gustaffo Vargas (Image, Marvel), Arks Helices #1 comes with not one but two companion comics that dive into the incredible science, art, and lore behind the story: Arks: Pattern State Insertion and Arks: Psychomachia.

That’s right, this year we worship at the altar of capitalism, as the Arks appendix (as we have been calling it) will now be sold separately as its own 12-page comic.

NOW... before you are overwhelmed with righteous indignation at the thought of a small press making money, know this—anyone who has backed us in the past or has signed up for our newsletter will receive a link to a secret reward tier the day before the campaign launches, which will allow them to get Pattern State Insertion completely for free if they pledge for Arks Helices #1 in its opening 48 hours and...

BACK SAGAS OF THE SHIELD MAIDEN: BOOK FIVE!

Sagas of the Shield Maiden is a Viking western comic that recounts the legends of the titular Shield Maiden as she traverses Scandinavia and beyond the North Sea. As well as obviously being heavily influenced by Viking history and Norse mythology the stories all draw upon traits and themes commonly found in the western genre.

Originally beginning as short stories from various point of the Shield Maiden's life, the series now follows two concurrent timelines. One following a younger, brasher and more blood hungry raider as she grieves the loss of her great love. As the other follows an older, battle hardened mercenary selling her sword for silver.

All volumes of Sagas of the Shield Maiden each contain over 40 pages of comics as well as a plethora of back up material including an amazing pin up gallery from artists including Len Gogou, Fell Hound, Ahmed Raafat and Angela Wu.

....MORE... COVER ART!!! Behold the cover for Arks Trypto #1 by the quantum anomaly that is Andrew Morris!

This will be the sequel series to Arks releasing sometime in 2027. It will be about 8- 20 page issues that will feature pigs, trepanned human, A.I worms, cyclogyros, male prostitutes and the most tragic mulching ever committed to the pages of a comic book. Arks Trypto will be ghastly, revolutionary science fiction and despite it being terrifying, I literally can't wait to start making these books :)

We have a YOUTUBE and TIK-TOK channel!

I know- Yay. We are becoming another shameless intellectually property spammer and we are joining the Youtube and Tik-Tok hordes to push our content into your eyeballs 24/7. My plan is to produce a few videos a week until death or a living from making comic books. Whatever comes first ;3

Macabre Valley #1

Macabre Valley #1 is a 30-page horror comic by writer Zack Quaintance (Death of Comics Bookcase), artist Anna Readman (2000AD, Peachfuzz), colorist Brad Simpson (Local Man, Coffin Bound), Eisner-nominated letterer Becca Carey (Absolute Wonder Woman, Exquisite Corpses), and designer Jared K. Fletcher (Paper Girls).
